I have a favorite phrase, "Ain't no school like an old school." For those of you who know me, I love my Motown and R&B. Lately I've noticed many current"artists" taking from the masters of old school. Listen to "I Like it" by Enrique Iglesias ( and Pitbull) there is a little bit tof 80's icon Lionele Richie's "All Night Long". It's a good thing to share! How about John Legend and the Roots "Wake Up Everybody"?Except for some rapping by Common, it's still the same old song...Thanks! Can we be original ,please! Here are some oldies that have been recycled.....
Do I Do - Stevie Wonder....do i do-JaRule
And the beat Goes on-The Whispers....Miami-Will Smith
Time of the Season-The Zombies.....Give it to me right-Meliane Fieiona
WestCoast Poplock-Ronnie Hudson...California Love-Tupac
Between the Sheets-The Isely Bros...I like it when you call me Big Papa- Biggie Smalls
Please don't Stop the Music-Rhiana...Wanna be Sarting Somrthin-Michael Jackson
The next timeyou hear a "new " song on the radio..listen carefully, it may be a classic getting recycled....
